​Dreaming of an extended version of the "fab-labs" make them "art-labs". Large, local, state funded laboratories and studio spaces for art, technology, performance art, that can provide a free space for working students and a low-rent space for interested artists. In this way students dont need to be in the distant university studio space. They can also seamlessly co-exist with distant learning strategy for theoretical traditional form lectures. Oh well.
